Ted Ames, a long-term, Maine lobster and ground fisherman, combines fishery science and fishermen’s knowledge in the interest of protecting essential fish habitats.

Guidelines for choosing fish. Claire’s advice: cut way down on all fish consumption and at least play along with this list. Avoid trawled fish. Ban orange roughy and other trawled fish.
